How contractors can make it with this economy!
First off let me tell you that this will be a different kind of post for me. It’s time that I speak my mind openly about some things that I have been reading on some of the forums out there. If you are a contractor then this post will be my best ever and you must read it all.
I am so tired of reading post after post on the forums about this economy and how bad things are. Everyone seems to be playing the blame game and in the mean time contractors are dropping like flies out there.
So I am here to help you once and for all to here and hopefully do what I ask of you.
First off I must tell you that I do practice what I preach and this is what works for me, with saying that I will tell you that once I was in the same boat as all of you now.
Here goes. First off shut off all main street media in your life! That’s right no TV or radio or newspaper or anyone else that sounds off about the economy or how bad things are or anyone being negative around you.
If this means finding a new place for breakfast, lunch or dinner then find it.I cannot express to you how important this is. As a matter of fact if you decide not to do this then just put the for sale sign or going out of business sign on the door now!
Why do I ask so much of you so soon. Have you heard the term garbage in garbage out?
See the garbage that goes in affects your thoughts, so if you choose to listen to said garbage then your mind and thoughts will affect your outcome.
What happens is that you create an Illusion in your mind of how bad things are out there and with the main street media beating in your head and mind, it takes a life of it’s own and you and everyone around you keep feeding that Illusion.
So change your thoughts and change your life or business!
A positive attitude will raise you up and empower you to change your mind and your life and your business!
You have the power within yourself to make the changes needed because it is strictly a mind set.
You are looking for that white light experience!
You are not the victim here but the main street media has a way of putting you in a hypnotic trance. This is how they can change a country and make it all negative all the time. So break away from this mold and move your mind set where you want it to be.
Remember positive thought brings you positive results as long as you follow my directions.
Let me tell you a small story about myself. At one time I owned a contracting business and I wanted it to have 6 million in sales within 2 years of me purchasing it.
Everyone around me said there was no way it could be done. But I had a vision in my mind what 6 million in sales would look like.New trucks would be paid off. My loan for the business paid off. Buy my partner off and then I would own the business free and clear.
Sure I had to tweak things along as I went but that 6 million in sales was on the wall in the conference room and in my office and in the bathroom at home and on my dashboard of my truck.
But the most important place was in my mind. Yes I heard all the little laughs around the office and the slams in sales meetings that Glen this is impossible to do at this time for this young of company.
But you no what each and every month I got a little closer to my vision until they all finally figured it out that I was going to meet my vision of 6 million in sales within my 2 years.
Yes, the trucks and all equipment was paid off and my partner was paid off and gone and we were debt free within my time table of 2 years.
So I ask that you do the same and get your vision wrote down and turn off the main street media crap and get in your mind and your thoughts that you can get the work and make your life and your contracting business successful.
Remember you and only you have the right to empower your thoughts for the change in your life and business.
