Yes, this is a major part of your business and your suppliers are your best friends and really business partners when you think about it.
Like most of us we spend 50% of our income goes to your suppliers. So you need to have a fantastic relationship with them and show them respect. Sure they will screw up from time to time but that’s just the nature of our business. Right?
The biggest things about the contractor supplies love and hate relationship with there contractor is that they never get enough lead time to service there client properly.
This means you don’t order your products far enough out so the supplier can have it in stock for you on time. And of course we have the delivery problems that mean delays and no work being performed.
But, I have always said that if you work closely with your suppliers and they clearly understand your type of business and the way you operate your business you and your supplier can get along great.
So, when your looking for contractor supplies make sure you build a great relationship so that you both prosper together.
