How one salesman makes a difference.
Have you ever seen how one person can single handily outsell all the others?
For some of us you sit and wonder what the hell does this guy or gal have that I don’t?
Is it better sales skills? Better training? Better closing techniques? Maybe they are just more organized? But do not even begin to ask how they do it month in month out.
Wow, that’s like cutting off there arm before they would give out those secrets.
Just remember this is how they make there living. They shine to see big closing ratio’s and you have to thing what makes the shining stars tick?
Where is there thoughts half the time? Is it truly the thrill of the sale that drives them? Some marketers say that all superstars are in a world of there own. They feed off themselves to keep the rush in there mind moving to there goal which is closing the sale.
They also believe that they are only as good as the last sell. Think about that for a moment? Could the average person even live under this type of pressure? Most cannot.
This is why salesmanship is in a class of it’s own. Some say you were born with it in your blood and then some say it can be taught. Even most salesman do not like to admit in public what they do for a living. Why?
Because the general public do not respect salespeople. They always get this used car thoughts in there minds and this is far from the truth. Because true superstars are compassionate people. They do care about there clients and they trust and respect them without question.
Superstars clearly understand that there business is built around trust and referrals. This is how they get to superstar status. Plus, they are always selling 24/7 . There minds never stop it’s always about the next sell.
Then when owners toss in bonuses towards the end of the month to help raise sales goals the superstars kick it into overdrive and they will always meet that bonus goal. What’s nice is that no matter how high they dangle that carrot the true superstar will always prevail.
So think about ways to raise the bar for your sales staff. Yes, go outside that box to come up with ways to motivate and get the superstars to shine. The true superstars will always meet that challenge.
Happy Selling
