Contractors need to be taking advantage of the stimulus act for energy savings and grab their share of the governments 6 billion dollar gold mine!
With times the way it is right now don’t get caught up thinking that your clients won’t spend money right now. This is just not true!
Anytime you can hand someone $1500.00 believe me they will take advantage of this savings. The window side of our business is breaking all kinds of sales records.
We jumped all over this stimulus act bill first in our area because we could see the benefit to our clients. So we just mailed our current data base and bingo the phones started ringing off the hook.
Our window manufacture here in Florida even hired back some 65 workers and started a 3rd shift. Reading the Window&Door magazine the other day showed several manufactures hiring workers back to help keep up with the demand.
I also see HVAC contractors marketing on TV and full page advertising in our area.
Now, I do need to laugh because I was on a forum the other night and they were talking about the stimulus act and a lot of the contractors were bashing the bill. Stupid!
These type of contractors totally miss the opportunity but the smart ones will take advantage of this and make a small fortune and also along the way keep everyone working.
While everyone else is bitching the smart contractors are all over this type of new revenue. Plus I might add it was dropped right in your lap. Just start marketing and educating your clients.
You will find a few nuggets like this along with all the foreclosures out there. I believe I see dollar signs all over the place right now as long as contractors open there eyes and move in on the opportunity.
For the contractors that work in the winter states now is the time to make hay. You have until the snow flies so step it up out there and get your fair share.

I agree. Contractors should be taking advantage of the stimulus act. For one, contractors should really be moving in for the possible opportunities as well.
