Sales & Marketing

How To Get Your Team To Work Together?

Contractors are always looking for new business leads and clients. But how can you get your sales and marketing team to work to together to meet all of your marketing needs.

Lets face it you need more and more leads everyday to work into closed sales so that you can keep everyone working and to fill your monthly work flow calender.

It’s best to use a marketing calender as well to keep track of your promotions. Yes, it makes it much easier if you have been in business for a few years because then you have a good track level of any up or downs in your sales cycle.

This little gem then tells you when to beef up your marketing and when to back off to save some money.

But sitting down with the eyes and ears of the sales staff can get you to faster sales as long as your willing to listen.

See, they beat the street everyday and meet with clients and here all of the reasons to buy or not buy today. Maybe the prices have changed in your area. A new product is out and it’s the hot ticket now?

Sure, finding money right now is a big problem for home improvements. But it’s also the best time to purchase your products or services right now.

It’s a fine balance moving around the sales and marketing team but sit them all down for weekly meetings and suck the life out of them to get the results. Just ask the questions that need to make your goals happen.

The old “shot gun” approach in marketing just doesn’t work anymore and your clients are asking for more and more bids to get the best prices they can.

Don’t forget to work your existing client base because this is your best lead source if you use it.
