Favorite time of year.

by josh on December 7, 2009

The winter is my favorite time of year. Not because i like the snow, cold, darkness or lack of work. Actually now that I think about it I really hate winter. But it gives me time to sit back and look back on the past year.

When we are so busy in the summertime i never have any time.  Although i have great ideas in the summer it’s hard to find the time to implement them. So around now is when i put my ideas in motion.

This year i’m going to go to a lot of seminars starting with Rodney Webb. I hear his boot camps are incredible and well worth the time and money. I will also be attending a few on general managment, business systems, marketing, and of course sales.

Ontop of that i will be writing a full employee hand book along with a employee installation manual. Neither of them will be enjoyable but necessary. Once I do this it shouldn’t take much time each year to update them and change rules here and there. I believe theses will be well worth the effort i put in.

With employees you can’t leave anything to chance. If there is an easier way they will find it. If they think they can get away with it the will do it. If it’s not written down they never knew about it. I believe this will end a lot of problems i have had in the past but will let you know mid summer how well it works.

Hopefully any effort i but in working on my business will make it easier to manage and more profitable for next year.

Thank You

Josh
