Soaring To New Heights

by glen on August 18, 2008

Good morning. As I write you today we have a hurricane coming our way here on the west coast of Florida so I may need to make this one a little short today.

Let’s return to our Online Marketing for Contractors series. Following our blueprint, we are now ready to put the roof on your web site. I like to think of this as keeping everything together inside and running smoothly – yes it is a roof so it will keep you dry.

But let’s look at ways to keep this all going and keeping those leads coming in and how to increase the lead base. One thing to remember is to track your leads no matter where they come from. This is so important because you need to know where to spend your marketing dollars.

I believe after my research that online is the way to go. Yes you should be testing different ads online and offline but remember that you can test online so much faster and for less cost.

When you are doing PPC (pay-per-click) with google and working with keywords you are able to add “thought stringing” to your campaign. Let’s talk about this think for your product or service and how it can relate to keywords. So you do bathroom remodels. Think how your client would search for this”

“Estimate for new bathroom.” “Bathroom and tub replacement.” “Contractor for bathroom.” “New tub and plumbing fixtures.” This should give you some idea about thought stringing and when adding this to your PPC campaign it costs less for leads. Because of the hurricane going on here I will continue this topic in more detail.

The new web site I have been telling you about has a video on thought stringing and a step by step how to. The guys putting all this together say that they will launch towards the end of September or early October. So stay posted with me and I will keep you up-to-date also.

Thank you

Glen
